An elated Jamie O’Hara danced around the talkSPORT studio topless as Tottenham won the Europa League.
Spurs finally ended their 17-year trophy drought by beating Manchester United in the final in Bilbao.
O’Hara took his top off in the talkSPORT studiotalkSPORTTheir last trophy was so long ago that O’Hara was part of the Spurs squad that last won a trophy in 2008.
Since then, four finals have come and gone. They had not even been able to score in any of them until the first-half goal against the Red Devils which was claimed by Brennan Johnson.
That proved to be enough for Tottenham to get over the line and win 1-0.
O’Hara took off his shirt and jumped around the talkSPORT studio alongside co-hosts Jason Cundy and Sam Ellard.
Once the dust settled and he returned to his seat, the former Spurs midfielder was quite emotional.
He said: “All the years I’ve had to put up with this. 17 years of hurt. 17 years of being the laughter track. 17 years of having to dig ourselves out of the mud and we’ve finally got over the line.
“It’s unbelievable. It’s massive. Champions League football and a trophy. Ange, you beauty.
“Unbelievable. The last time Spurs won a trophy I played for them. I’ve been a fan my whole life and ever since I left I wanted them to carry on and win things.
“Finally we have and it’s a big one. It’s a big trophy, that. It’s a massive trophy. It’s bigger than the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. It’s a European trophy. It’s a massive win that. I’m so happy.
“I actually can’t believe it, we were terrible as well.
Spurs have finally won a trophy, with Johnson the man to score the winnerGetty“I’m so happy for all the fans.”

They may be 17th in the Premier League and have had a domestic campaign, but will be in the Champions League next season as a result of their victory.
