This year’s event is set for June 23-26 at Vanderbilt University.
The venture has returned and hints at Kelce’s potential retirement.
The 35-year-old Kelce will return for his 13th season in the league in 2025.
But all bets are off for Kelce to play beyond the upcoming campaign as he contemplated retirement after a career-worst season in 2024.
Kelce’s Chiefs are also coming off a disappointing Super Bowl 59 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Nonetheless, Kelce, Olsen, and Kittle created Tight End University in 2021 “to bring the Tight End community together,” per the program’s website.
Hundreds of tight ends are gathered from across the country to learn from one another and “advance” the position.
The three-day schedule allows participants the “bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers,” under the guidance of the NFL stars.
The event also features numerous activities, including “film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and features appearances from numerous NFL stars.”
TEU has taken place in Nashville, Tennessee, throughout its time.
Kittle began the event by inviting other tight ends to join him near his offseason home in Nashville to work out and train together.
This year’s TEU has added entertainment and charitable aspects.
The sessions are linked with the sponsors, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, for in-person meet-and-greets and monetary support.
There will also be a golf tournament and a concert planned.
Olsen has been a Fox NFL broadcaster since 2021 after being a three-time Pro Bowl tight endGetty“Our goal with TEU has always been to create a space where tight ends can come together, share knowledge, and elevate each other,” TEU co-founder Olsen said, per the press release.
“Being able to spread knowledge and pick the brains of those who do it at the highest level every Sunday, while helping to evolve the position to what it has become today, is truly something we take great pride in.”
After TEU, Kelce will prepare to participate in the Chiefs’ training camp in late July.
The 10-time Pro Bowler tight end will hope to put his disappointing campaign behind him.
