He then ran behind the goal before performing the ‘Siu’ celebration along with a number of his teammates.
The 14-year-old’s goal was the opener and came in the 13th minute, although Croatia equalised 12 minutes later through Ivan Caleta.
But it wasn’t long before Ronaldo Jr restored Portugal’s lead just before half time.
Croatia would level the contest once more in the 59th minute, but Rafael Cabral’s strike 12 minutes from time ensured Portugal took home the spoils.
Ronaldo Jr’s brace came just days after he made his international debut against Japan at the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia.
The teen was named as a substitute for Portugal’s fixture against Japan.
But he was injected into the contest in the 54th minute as Portugal secured a comfortable 4-1 victory.
Following his debut, Ronaldo Jr’s father shared his immense pride at watching his son follow in his footsteps.
“Congratulations on your debut by @selecaoportugal, son,” Ronaldo wrote.
