Celtic travel to Aberdeen on Wednesday night looking to make it five wins from their last six matches in all competitions in their final away game of the season.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have already secured themselves a fourth consecutive league title, and a 13th in the last 14 years, and could yet secure themselves a domestic treble, with Wednesday’s match a dress rehearsal of the FA Cup final at Hampden Park next weekend.
Despite boasting a 17 point lead at the top of the Premiership table, the Glasgow side head into their final away game of the campaign having won only five of their last 14 matches away from home since early December which Aberdeen may look to exploit on Wednesday.

Wednesday night will be Aberdeen’s final home game of the season before their league finale at Dundee United on Saturday lunchtime before they play Celtic once again in the FA Cup final next weekend at Hampden Park.
Jimmy Thelin’s side prepare for the visit of the champions having lost their last two matches, including a 4-0 defeat at Rangers on Sunday lunchtime, having gone their previous eight games unbeaten in all competitions.
Aberdeen still have a lot to play for in the league despite currently being in fourth place in the table, with European qualification still very much on the line.
The Dons currently sit fourth, which would see them reach the Conference League qualifying rounds, and sit three points behind Hibs in third, who currently occupy a Europa League spot.
However Dundee United, who host Aberdeen on Saturday are only three points behind them and are currently outside the European spots, though that could change after the Scottish FA Cup final with the possibility for positions to be redistributed.
It’s been seven years, almost to the day, since Aberdeen last tasted victory over Celtic, 29 meetings ago, including defeats in their last three matches, conceding at least five on two of those occasions.
