The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the restart date of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

The tournament will resume on May 17, with the remaining 17 matches to be played across 6 venues, and the IPL 2025 Final will be played on June 3 instead of the original date of May 25.

The BCCI hasn’t yet announced the revised schedule of IPL 2025. Only two doubleheaders will be played on Sundays, May 18 and May 25. Qualifier 1 will be played on May 29, the Eliminator on May 30 and Qualifier 2 on June 1.
