We already know that the game is set for a 2026 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S thanks to what we learned from Trailer 2, but what about PC?
Grand Theft Auto 6 has been shrouded in mystery for over a year; all of our knowledge about the game before now has come from leaks and rumours.
Is GTA 6 coming to PC?
Since the game was first announced, we've known that the game was slated for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, but to-date, nothing has been said about a PC release.
However, we know this doesn't mean a PC release is completely off the cards. Let's get our speculating hats back on to work out when a GTA 6 PC release might come about.
When will GTA 6 come to PC?
However, we predict that GTA 6 will release on PC in 2027.
GTA 4 was ported to PC the same year as its console release, and while GTA 5 took a little longer, at two years, Red Dead Redemption 2 came to Windows just a year after dropping on PS4 and Xbox One.
Previously, we had expected a 2026 PC release, but with the game being pushed back a year to 2026, we think it makes sense to push our own prediction back in turn, so 2027 it is.
Either way, we would be shocked if Rockstar decided to never port the game to PC, so don't worry on that front.
In fact, following recently surfaced 60 FPS footage of GTA 6, fans are already making the case that the game could in fact launch on PC alongside consoles in 2026 – though, it should be said, we think this is wishful thinking, unfortunately.
