Travis County deputy involved in shooting, sheriff's office says ...Middle East

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- The Travis County Sheriff's Office is on the scene of a "shooting involving a deputy" near Lake Travis.

TCSO posted on X at 11:05 a.m. that the shooting happened in the parking lot of a Randall's on FM 620.

The deputy was unharmed, according to TCSO. No details were provided about what led to the shooting or if anyone else was injured.

TCSO is planning to hold a press briefing at noon, and this story will be updated with new information.
