On the latest episode of her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex spoke to Hannah Mendoza, the co-founder of coffee company Clevr Brands, about the importance of having supportive female peers when challenges arise.
“Maybe on that day, something really painful happened in your real life, but for your team, that is not how you show up. You can’t,” she continued.

“That told me that customers — people — believed in me and this vision. That’s all you really want as a founder," she said.
The Duke of Sussex spoke out about his fractured relationship with his family following the decision in an interview with the BBC, revealing that King Charles "won’t speak to [him] because of this security stuff."
