Love Is Blind season 8 stars Sara Carton and Joey Leveille stepped out in New York City together months after denying dating speculation.
In video footage obtained by TMZ, Sara, 29, and Joey, 36, were seen at Ethyl Bar & Restaurant in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The pair chatted with a pal into the early hours of Sunday, May 4.
The outing comes two months after Sara addressed her relationship status with Joey following their time on the Netflix dating series.
“I’ve seen this a few times online in the past 24 hours,” Sara said during an appearance on “The Viall Files” podcast in March. “Well, to be clear, me and Joey are not dating.”

Both Sara and Joey found love on the series, which was filmed in Minneapolis in spring 2024, getting engaged to Ben Mezzenga and Monica Danus, respectively. The two couples split at the altar.
“There was a love square between me, Monica, Ben and Joey. We were all talking to each other until the second to last day in the pods,” Sara recalled in March. “Of course, naturally in that circumstance, you do connect with people. I feel like me and Joey did establish a really great friendship.”

“[Joey] and five other people visited me in Nashville and we called ourselves the ‘Yee-Haw Crew,’ like, it’s such a good time,” Sara said. “We grew really, really close with each other just because of the support for each other, knowing what we’ve all been through and being able to be there for one another. It’s been super important to me.”

“This whole situation, I’ve felt very close with Joey. I’m fond of our relationship, but I [also] feel very well-supported by all those involved,” Sara continued. “I’m just very grateful that I’ve met him, but yeah, we definitely have a friendship. We’re definitely not dating.”
While discussing whether a romance is on the table in the future, Sara played coy. “I don’t know what the future will hold,” Sara said. “But I do know for right now, I definitely have no capacity to even think about a relationship.”
Joey, for his part, also denied dating rumors during a March appearance on the “Curious Crossroads” podcast. He claimed to have “discussed” the possibility with Sara, adding, “Ultimately, we just decided, I don’t think either of us are in the capacity to do that right now. We’re not dating.”
Later that month, Joey’s ex Monica, 28, claimed that he and Sara are more than friends. “I’m so sick of the lies. Just own up to it at this point,” Monica told Elite Daily in March. “I texted Sara [before the reunion], ‘I’m hearing a lot of things about you and Joey. Is there anything you need to tell me?’ And she called me and said, ‘Nothing’s official, but we are seeing each other.’”

“She told me this started a month ago, so that’s at least two months ago now. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was longer,” Monica alleged. “All this time when I was venting to her about Joey and she was saying she had my back, she was actually with him.”
Monica noted that Sara and Joey’s alleged romance is a “betrayal,” adding, “It’s very hurtful. It’s no surprise from Joey — I don’t think very highly of him, and I don’t want him in my life. But I’m hurt that Sara would do this to me.”
