The Houston Rockets are out of the NBA playoffs at the hands of Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors once again.

The Warriors reigned victorious in Game 7 on Sunday night as they dominated their elimination game to the extent that Draymond Green yelled a confident message with time left on the clock.

Golden State entered the duel as underdogs with many NBA pundits expecting the Rockets to win the decisive game on their home court.

But stellar performances from Green, Curry, Buddy Hield and Jimmy Butler proved to be too much for Houston.

It looked like Green enjoyed it the most as, with 1:28 left on the clock, he had a five-word message for fans at home.

“Goodnight. It’s been real,” said Green with the camera inches from his face.

The 35-year-old finished with 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block as he proved instrumental in this crunch game.

After the win Green also poked fun at Barkley, who earlier claimed a Rockets a win was guaranteed.

“I think the Rockets are going to win tonight,” Barkley said. “Steph [Curry] gonna be aggressive, but it’s not gonna be enough. I’m guaranteeing the Rockets win tonight.”

“Guarantee it, then” fellow co-host Shaquille O’Neal challenged.

“Oh, guarantee!” Barkley shouted in response.

Green reposed the video with a two-word caption, writing: “Love Charles.”

Fans online ripped Barkley for his prediction.

“All due respect, what a horrible take!” one posted on X.

“Thank you chuck. You never disappoint,” another wrote on X.

The Warriors’ win will ultimately be headlined by Hield, who put up 33 points, shooting 12 from 15 and nine from 11 from behind the arc.

“Being in the zone is very spiritual,” Hield said. “It’s just you and that rim and the net and the ball. And you just figure it out. Sometimes you put anything up and it goes in. Just being at peace with your game.”

Curry added 10 rebounds and seven assists to his 22 points, 19 of which came in the second half, as he came alive when his team needed him the most.

“I thought Steph was brilliant tonight,” Golden State coach Steve Kerr said. “I know he got off to a slow start shooting the ball, but the whole key to the game was taking care of the ball, and he managed the game beautifully.

“The reason we had the (12-point) lead at half was because of the way Steph took care of the ball, got us in our offense, and settled the game down.”

The Rockets will rue the opportunities they had to take charge of the game, best demonstrated by the 12 of 18 3-pointers they missed.

“It felt like we missed a lot of point-blank shots,” Houston coach Ime Udoka said.

“Offensive rebounds, although we had 14, we didn’t really have a great percentage on the second chance (7-for-14). We only made 50 percent of those.”

The Warriors advance to play the Minnesota Timberwolves, with Game 1 set for Tuesday in Minneapolis.
