The 2025 college softball regular season is in the books, which means it’s time for the SEC Tournament.
All 15 SEC softball programs will take part in the conference tournament at Jack Turner Stadium in Athens from Tuesday to Saturday. (Vanderbilt is the only SEC program without a softball team.)
Newcomer Oklahoma is the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament. No. 2 seed Texas A&M, 3-seed Texas and 4-seed Tennessee also earned coveted double byes, meaning their first games will be in Thursday’s Quarterfinals.
Seeds 5-9 – Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi State and LSU – receive first-round byes and begin play on Wednesday in the Second Round.
Six teams, including host Georgia, will play in opening-round action on Tuesday. Here’s the full bracket and single-elimination schedule for the 2025 SEC Softball Tournament:
Florida is the defending SEC Tournament champion. Last year, Oklahoma and Texas played for the Big 12 Softball Tournament title, with OU winning 5-1. The rivals met again in the Women’s College World Series Finals. The Sooners defeated the Longhorns 8-3 and 8-4 for the national championship.
The SEC Softball Tournament is an on-campus event that rotates to all 15 schools with future sites set for Kentucky (2026), Ole Miss (2027), Missouri (2028) and Mississippi State (2029).
