The customer said they called the help line a total of nine times and even spoke to the manager – but the problem has not been resolved.
They wrote on X: “@Walmart I’ve called your customer service number over issues with an order no less than nine times in four weeks.
“Each time I’m given a solution that never materializes.
“Today I’ve called twice and been hung up on even by the so called manager.
“Mind you I’ve been calm and respectful so WTF is going on!”
Walmart replied to the unhappy customer to apologize and offer their support.
The retailer’s account responded: “Oh no, that’s not what we like to see!
“Can you please send us a DM with additional details, so we can look into this?”
It is unclear whether the issue has been resolved.
This comes after Walmart patrons slammed the retailer for cancelling one of its popular perks.
Walmart Plus previously came with a Paramount Plus streaming subscription – but the beloved perk is no longer available.
The decision left frustrated customers scrambling to cancel their Paramount Plus subscriptions before being charged.
Several shoppers have claimed recently that when they tried to end the Paramount Plus subscription for whatever reason, the result was that the entire Walmart Plus membership attached to it was also canceled.
One angry shopper wrote on X: “@Walmart why is it so hard to cancel your Paramount subscription through Walmart plus without canceling your entire subscription?
“Are they making it harder to do this on purpose?”
Walmart Plus is the retailer’s membership service, which competes directly with Amazon Prime.
Customers who sign up pay $12.95 per month or $98 annually and get a range of perks after a 30-day trial period at no cost.
Those perks, along with the free Paramount Plus subscription, include unlimited free deliveries with no order minimum, fuel discounts, Scan & Go, and exclusive offerings.
