Last episode of Survivor 48 had its first major shock of the postmerge, as David had nearly his entire alliance turn against him to send him out. However, this only somewhat reset the board, as the remnants of the "strong" alliance quickly reaffirmed their loyalty and set their sights on the people on the bottom. While a plan was concocted to overthrow the majority, it was quickly scuttled.
