In a preview clip of the May 1 episode of the "That's Total Mom Sense" podcast — which Parade can exclusively reveal — actress Elisa Donovan got candid with hosts Kanika Chadda Gupta and Samantha Danielle as part of their new miniseries, "Parenting in the Digital Age," about what it was like on set. Donovan, 54, portrayed Amber in the film.
Elisa Donovan Reflects on Filming 'Clueless': 'It's Complicated' (2:24)
"It's funny. Alicia [Silverstone] and I just spoke about this recently, which we had never done. She was like, 'It was really stressful.' And I said, 'Yeah. Ditto!' Like, it was very stressful," Donovan explained. "And certainly more so for her, in different ways. [I remember] being worried, like, 'Am I too fat?' Just all of that crazy stuff."
She continued: "It was tough. But at the same time, super fun. So, you know, it's complicated. Everyone always wants to hear like, [it was] perfect and fun and great. It was great, but it was also challenging, for sure."
