The Scottish actor is inviting the country’s most brilliant minds to compete in the ultimate television challenge – the Genius Game.
The eight-part series premieres on ITV on Wednesday 30 April at 9pm and will also be available to stream on ITVX.
Chosen not just for their intellectual prowess but also their social IQ, the contestants will participate in a host of games.
The games are designed to test their intellectual acumen while encouraging the contestants to carefully and creatively outfox their opponents to get their hands on the cash prize.

The losing player will go head-to-head in a death match, choosing their opponent from the remaining players.
What is the prize on Genius Game?
Up to £50,000 is available in the prize fund.
They go into the game fund, adding up after each episodes, while the number of players still in the game depletes.
