Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan is sharing her thoughts on Jason Oppenheim’s new girlfriend, Jessica Vargas.
“Jess is very sweet,” Hernan exclusively told Us Weekly at The Daily Front Row’s 9th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Thursday, April 24.
“She’s Emma approved. I don’t know if she’s everyone approved, but she’s Emma approved,” Hernan shared. “Jason’s very happy. We just talked about it actually. Me and Jason just had a little heart to heart. He’s so, so happy with her.”

Like several of Oppenheim’s former girlfriends, Vargas is also a realtor at the Oppenheim Group, around which Selling Sunset revolves. Oppenheim, 48, previously dated costars Nicole Smith, 39, Mary Fitzgerald, 44, Chrishell Stause, 43, and Amanza Smith, 48.

“Jason loves those agents, doesn’t he?” Hernan laughed. “He does. I mean, what can you say? He likes the agents.”
Oppenheim and Vargas made their red-carpet debut at the Los Angeles premiere of The Accountant 2 on April 16.
On Monday, April 21, the couple shared a series of sweet photos via Instagram that showed them cuddling, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
“Lately with us. A few favorites from the camera roll and @jasonoppenheim bday extravaganza,” the caption read.
Hernan isn’t the only cast member to praise Vargas. Speaking to the Daily Mail on Friday, April 25, Amanza Smith said Vargas is “beautiful and really intelligent and a great human.”

“Jason is doing amazing and has earned his right to date whoever he wants. He’s the hardest-working man that I know and a total charmer,” Smith said.
“Look, I dated Jason, that came out in the reunion, everybody’s dated Jason. He’s a really great guy,” she said.
“He’s particular, he always has beautiful young girlfriends, but they’re not dummies, he’s got a really good sense of taste for the women that he dates. We just cheer him on. Good for him,” she added.
