Spring means that the weather is warming up and the soil is ready to grow some plants. If you’re someone who likes to garden, you probably also like gardening clogs that allow you to walk around mud and dirt without worrying about messing up shoes you already own. And Aldi is releasing garden clogs this week that not only do all of that, but they also look like Hunter Boots and L.L. Bean styles that are over 10 times the price. From April 30 to May 6, Aldi will be selling Gardenline Garden Clogs for $8.99 in the Aldi Finds aisles of local U.S. stores. They’ll have them in both ladies’s and men’s styles, but they’re all the same design. These shoes are a low-profile clog with a lip in the back to cover a little bit of your heel. They have grooves on the bottom for better traction as you walk around your backyard or garden. This feature also makes them great shoes to just slip on and walk your dog or fetch the morning newspaper in.Related: Aldi Is Selling a Stylish Rattan Chair and Ottoman Similar to Wayfair and Target Styles up to 15x the Price
Gardenline Garden Clog, $8.99 at Aldi
They have some angular designs on the side, etched into the rubber. While Aldi’s site doesn’t say what these are made of, it looks like rubber and should be somewhat water-resistant for all your gardening activities. Both the men’s and ladies’s version of this shoe have a two-toned design, with the top of the clog one color and the grooves another.
The women’s clogs come in the colors rose and taupe. The rose color is a light, rose-colored pink on the top with a darker rose color on the bottom. The taupe is a grayish beige on top and a lighter beige on the bottom. The men’s clogs come in the colors olive and black. The olive is a deep olive green on top and they have a black outsole on the bottom. The black shoes are black on both the top and bottom.Related: Aldi’s New Cute and Vibrant Serving Bowl Is Selling Fast at $6
Women's Neoprene Gardener Clogs, $95 at Hunter Boots
These Aldi clogs aren’t the first of its kind on the market. Hunter Boots’s Women's Neoprene Gardener Clogs are very similar and cost $95. These are also specifically made for gardening and are made with a “natural rubber” that provides grip with a neoprene liner that supports the foot and “protects it from the elements.” These have a small heel that Aldi’s don’t have, and they come up a bit more in the back of the heel for more protection and stability.
