Dewald Brevis makes his debut for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as MS Dhoni made two changes to the line-up for the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Brevis, who went unsold at the IPL Auction in December, was brought in as a replacement for the injured Gurjapneet Singh. Dhoni dropped Rachin Ravindra and Vijay Shankar from the line up, with Deepak Hooda also making a return.

‘Baby AB’ Dewald Brevis makes CSK debut
With Chennai Super Kings entering must-win territory, MS Dhoni has added Dewald Brevis to the lineup for the CSK vs SRH game on Friday. Dubbed as Baby AB for his likeness to AB de Villiers, the Proteas ace previously featured for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.
Brevis adds much needed explosiveness to CSK’s line up, who have been guilty of making sedate starts. The 22-year-old will slot into the middle order, likely to bat at No.4.
