‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Star Scott Clifton Addresses Possible ‘General Hospital’ Return ...Saudi Arabia

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Clifton answered the question head-on, stating, “No, I am not at all thinking about General Hospital or any other show. I’m just thinking about doing the best job I can do telling this story. That is what is important to me. I just want to do right by this show and this story and this storyteller — namely, Brad.”

However, a different story is being told in 2025 as the once front-burner character finds himself relegated to the sidelines with the actor appearing in just 16 episodes out of a possible 75 so far, meaning his character has only appeared in 20% of episodes, as opposed to his peak of 79%. 

Clifton’s soap credits also include playing Dr. Schuyler Joplin on One Life to Live from 2009 to 2010.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS and streams daily on Paramount+.
