DENVER (KDVR) — More spring showers and the chance for a few severe thunderstorms are in Denver's weather forecast Thursday.
A marginal (level one on a scale of 1-5) risk for strong to severe storms will be in place for the evening as thunderstorms on the eastern plains capable of producing hail and strong, damaging wind gusts.

Weather tonight: T-storms ending
Wednesday evening, showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east before clearing overnight. Low temperatures will fall to the 40s, which is nearly 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.
Weather tomorrow: More showers and storms
Thursday, there will be another risk for showers and thunderstorms as temperatures climb to a seasonal high in the mid 60s.
Some thunderstorms could become strong to severe, with hail and damaging wind gusts as the main threats through the afternoon and evening.
Looking ahead: Dry weekend, more April showers
Friday will be cooler, with a high around 60 degrees, alongside the chance for a few more showers.
