Amid the volatility in markets and threat to the Japanese economy, we're clearly seeing analysts push back their outlook on when the next rate hike might materialise. There weren't any that expected the BOJ to only hike again next year, but now we're seeing a small quarter predicting that. As for the Japanese economy itself, 87% of economists see a recession this year as being unlikely.
