Eddie V’s, the seafood-steakhouse chain at the Bluffs shopping center in Newport Beach, will close its doors after 20 years at 1370 Bison Ave. Its final dish will be served on June 15.
“Closing this restaurant is a difficult business decision, and one that we made carefully and thoughtfully, particularly because it impacts our team members and guests,” a spokesperson for the restaurant said in a written response.
The spokesperson adds that the company will offer everyone on the team the chance to join other Eddie V’s restaurants in the area. According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) letter the company sent to the Employment Development Department in California, there are currently 61 people employed at the Newport Beach location.
