Hamilton’s wait for a podium finish with Ferrari continuesAFPHis teammate Charles Leclerc enjoyed a more successful outing as he finished third behind winner Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen.
But seven-time Formula 1 world champion Hamilton has faced another tough weekend since his blockbuster move from Mercedes.

When asked if he felt comfortable during this weekend’s race, he said via Crash.net: “No. There wasn’t one second, no.
“Clearly the car is capable of being P3. Charles did a great job today so I can’t blame the car.”
Hamilton was then questioned on whether or not he knows why he’s been struggling with the car, and he simply replied: “No.”
“I was miles off pace-wise, and didn’t have the speed today,” he also said in an interview with Canal+.
Hamilton added: “There’s not really anything to take from the three weeks, expect for I’m slow so I’ve got to figure out how to undo that.”
A tenth-place finish at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix was followed by a disqualification in China for Hamilton.
In Japan, he welcomed seventh before improvement came at the Bahrain Grand Prix as he finished fifth.
Hamilton admitted that he didn’t feel comfortable during the Saudi Arabia Grand PrixGettyBut the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix has presented another setback for Hamilton, who recently downplayed his chances of a race win.
Before Bahrain, he was asked what he would say to fans waiting for ‘something magical’ and responded: “Don’t, simple as that.
“Don’t wait for anything, just watch and enjoy. We’re working as hard as we can, so that’s all I can say, I have nothing else to add to that.”
Piastri’s win was his third of the season so far and ensured McLaren still lead the constructors’ standings after five races.
The Australian has the most points of all 20 drivers on 99, with his teammate Lando Norris ten behind him in second.
