In 2018, Kody Brown, his wife, Robyn, and his then wives (now exes), Christine, Janelle and Meri—purchased the sprawling 14-acre property with plans of building at least four houses on it.
They bought the land for $820,000, per Realtor.com, but claimed they couldn't start the building process until they paid off the loan. Progress in moving their polygamous family onto Coyote Pass stalled out for years amid disagreements over dividing up the property, whether they should construct one massive house and more.

According to a report from The U.S. Sun, also reported by Realtor.com, the Browns recently sold all four parcels of Coyote Pass. The family has not publicly confirmed the news, as of writing.
