THE Dallas Cowboys have signed former Super Bowl starter Hakeem Adeniji.
Adeniji, 27, will link up with Brian Schottenheimer’s squad for the 2025 season.

Adeniji was drafted by Cincinnati Bengals with the 180th pick in 2020.
The former Kansas college star started the 2022 Super Bowl for the Bengals.
His team agonisingly lost 23-20 to the Los Angeles Rams.
Following three years with the Bengals, Adeniji was waived in August 2023.
He subsequently signed with the Minnesota Vikings, playing four games before departing.
Adeniji then signed with the Cleveland Browns, but did not play a game for them due to a knee injury.
Dallas’ new addition is their third free agent signing for their offensive line this off-season.
In March, Dallas added Robert Jones, formerly of the Miami Dolphins, to their ranks.
Jones signed a one-year, $4.75million deal with the Cowboys.
Earlier this month, the Cowboys signed former Tennessee Titan Saahdiq Charles.
Dallas went 7-10 during the 2024 season.
Under former head coach Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys missed the playoffs.
Dallas was particularly poor at home, going 2-7 at AT&T Stadium.
Quarterback Dak Prescott played in just eight games before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.
Prescott, 31, recently offered a positive update on his status.
“If I had to play a game today, I definitely could do that,” Prescott said at the 35th annual Children’s Cancer Fund gala, via ESPN.
“It’s about moving forward healthy to make sure I can play 17 times, 20 [games] — whatever we get to when the time’s right.”
Prescott also said he wants to participate in OTAs (organized team activities) after they begin next month.
“I’m getting close to where I want to be. I don’t want to put a percentage on it,” Prescott added. “I know we’ve got team activities coming up, imagine myself being involved in some sort if not all.”
