Last-minute Easter shopping at Walmart was also stunted on Thursday morning when the retail giant’s mobile app and website went down.
Consumers cited severe delays on one of the busiest shopping weeks of the year.
Glitches were flagged on April 16, which later caused outages across four states — Arizona, Missouri, New York, and Texas.
Some affected customers took to Facebook in a rage.
“WTF is going on with Walmart today. I cannot get the app or website to work at all,” a fuming shopper wrote.
An employee responded that the “system was down” and that they would be “severely backed up” with orders.
Online shopping is a massive source of profit for Walmart.
On every $100 spent at the chain, at least $18 comes from online purchases, per The Daily Mail.
As of Friday, the Walmart website and app appear to be working as normal.
