Wink Martindale, Beloved 'Tic-Tac-Dough' Game Show Host, Dead at 91 ...Saudi Arabia

His died on Tuesday, April 15, in Rancho Mirage, Calif., where he was "surrounded by family and his beloved wife of 49 years, Sandra Martindale,” according to a press release.

His other TV game show credits include gigs on Headline Chasers, and Bumper Stumpers, which Martindale created and co-produced. He also hosted game shows based on Trivial Pursuit and Boggle in the '90s, plus the Lifetime game show Debt, which ran from 1996 to 1998.

He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006, and was also one of the first inductees into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife, Martindale is survived by his sister Geraldine, his daughters Lisa, Lyn and Laura and a "large extended family full of grandchildren and great grandchildren," according to the press release. He also leaves behind an "honorary son" Eric and his beloved Chihuahua, Dude.
