Why this LEGO designer loved working on the Bluey sets
Every project starts with lots of studying, but Cardazzo admits this project was easier than some since her family were already fans.
Cardazzo was even able to work on sets based on some of her personal favorite Bluey episodes.
The special, extra-long Bluey episode "The Sign" was an instant classic that had adults quietly sobbing and kids entranced. Cardazzo and the team were treated to a private screening of the 28-minute episode to help add to the designs.
She mentions that the room was packed with designers—some who were willing to stand (when all the chairs were taken) just to watch the exclusive.
Encouraging family play
The Bluey sets provide even more play than others since they include extra elements like memory games—AKA just another way the design teams are encouraging play with siblings and parents.
If you feel daunted by the idea of trying to be as good of parents as Bandit and Chilli, remember, Bluey episodes are only seven minutes long. So, playing LEGOs with your kid for seven minutes is not only doable but basically puts you on the same level as the Heeler parents.
