The women’s ensemble “Voices of Grace” is singing Palm Sunday (April 13) at Crossroads Christian Church-Ukiah, in their new meeting place at 900 S. Dora St. The service begins at 11 a.m.
The group was formed in 2010 by Carole Hester. She wanted a place for singers to be able to work on music and travel to churches and events to sing God’s praises. For more than eight years the group sang every month at a local retirement residence, and since inception has sung in area churches in two counties, women’s retreats and other events.
Featuring songs with great harmony, the ensemble sings old songs by outstanding arrangers set in today’s sound, as well as songs from current Christian composers, thereby offering a wide range of audience appeal.
Voices of Grace strives always to represent a loving God to those who hear them sing.
This local ladies’ ensemble performs throughout the area, and is singing at Crossroads-Ukiah on Palm Sunday.
Singers at this time are: Heather Hargreaves Gengoux, Karen Gowan, Charlene Larsen, Diana Ragan, and Director Carole Hester. All serve in their local churches.
