Europa League final: What has been said?
Arsenal legend Martin Keown thinks that by winning the Europa League, Ange Postecoglou will save his job as Tottenham boss.
When asked whether Postecoglo’s job as Spurs manager depends on his side going all the way in Europe, Keown said: “Without doubt.
“He’s saying that in his second season, he always wins a trophy. He’s been quite defiant.
“Let’s see if they can go and do it now. Remarkably, if they win the Europa League, they can make it into the Champions League which is just incredible.
“Postecoglou has that in the locker, it can certainly happen for him.
“Would he still stay in the job? Man United won the FA Cup last year and people said that papered over the cracks [with Erik ten Hag].
“But I think if he wins the Europa League, it gives him time, it gives him another season. Then, if he can keep his players fit, they can impact the Premier League.”
