Adou Thiero has decided to declare for the 2025 NBA Draft.
Thiero stepped up in a big way for Arkansas this season and ended the year as the Hogs’ leading scorer. He averaged 15.1 points per game and was a big reason why the Razorbacks made the NCAA Tournament and ultimately the Sweet 16 in Year 1 under John Calipari.
“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the University of Arkansas, Coach Cal, staff, GA’s, managers, teammates, fans, and all of Razorback Nation for their unwavering support and belief in me,” Thiero wrote-in part on social media. “The memories we’ve created and the lessons I’ve learned here will always hold a special place in my heart. I want to also thank my family and friends for being there for me and supporting me every step of the way.”

— JC Hoops (@JacksonCollier) April 8, 2025Thiero does have 1 additional year of eligibility remaining. It’s unclear at this time if Thiero intends to maintain his college eligibility while testing the NBA draft waters or if he’s committed to turning pro.
Arkansas has produced several NBA players in recent years. Most recently, Anthony Black and Nick Smith Jr. were both first-round picks back in 2023. Other active Razorbacks in the NBA include Jaylin Williams, Isaiah Joe, Daniel Gafford, Moses Moody, Bobby Portis and Jordan Walsh.
The 2025 NBA Draft is set for June 25.
