A WOMAN hit the jackpot with a bag find that could bring in about $1,000 profit.

The savvy thrifter was perusing the aisles of Goodwill when the item caught her eye.

It featured an unmistakable and “gorgeous” pattern typically seen on bags from an iconic fashion company, according to a recent TikTok clip from Monica Paulino (@monicampaulino).

“This is the thrifting find of all finds,” Paulino told viewers.

“When I tell you I bit my lip so I did not scream in the store — it’s unbelievable, I could not have dreamt this up.”

The thrifting influencer quickly revealed the larger brown and black bag, with the two signature letters of “LV” etched in a pattern on the sides and bottom for Louis Vuitton.

Paulino noted that the bag was “vintage” and two other details made her almost 100% certain it was a legitimate Louis Vuitton, not a dupe or knockoff.

CODE CONFIRMATION

That included a date code and the correct stitching on the inside.

Louis Vuitton notably has a date code system put on products for authentication.

On the inside of the brand’s bags, the code will indicate where and when it was manufactured through a combination of letters and numbers.

Paulino also said she quickly put a picture of the bag in an online thread while still in the store, and got confirmation from other thrifters and designer bag experts that it was a real Louis Vuitton.

“Every person that commented said it looks real to them,” she added.

The thrifter also quickly flashed the price tag Goodwill had it listed for — $39.99.

Depending on the style, Louis Vuitton’s average new bag ranges anywhere between $1,200 and $6,000, per myGemma.

A quick search The U.S. Sun conducted of similar Louis Vuitton offerings matched the bag Paulino found to the Neverfull MM Monogram.

Its current listing is $2,030.

Valuable thrifting finds revealed

Here are some of the best thrift store finds:

Tiffany & Co. earrings that sold for $0.34 and are valued at $430 American Girl doll that sold for $5.99 and is valued at $300 Bionicle toy that sold for $14.95 and is valued at $18.101 Gold record plaque for DJ Quik’s 1992 album Way 2 Fonky that sold for @20 and is valued at $200 Rothy’s brand Sugared Berry pointed-toe flats that sold for $155 retail and are valued at $250

Even if it’s not the exact same design and given that it’s used, it’s still likely that Paulino would make at least a $1,000 profit re-sale.

MINI MONEY

She’s also not the only thrifter to come across designer bags sitting around in second-hand stores at astonishingly low prices.

Someone else recently got lucky spotting a coin purse for $1.99 hidden within other donated goods at her local Goodwill.

It also featured the signature “LV” in the same pattern as the large bag Paulino found.

She decided to send it to Louis Vuitton for verification, and the company shipped it back, confirming it was real.

Louis Vuitton also touched up and fixed blemishes for her for free.

The Louis Vuitton Key Pouch’s actual worth is around $330.

Another thrifter recently spotted a beautiful bag for $20 that also had a crucial detail, instantly making it worth $3,200.

Similarly, a woman spotted a luxury bag at Goodwill that’s valued at over $3,000 for just $14.99.
