MS Dhoni retiring from IPL?
MS Dhoni has addressed the retirement rumors, saying he’s taking things one year at a time. At 43, he’ll be 44 by the end of the IPL season, and he has 10 months to decide if he’ll play another year. Dhoni emphasized that it’s not just his decision, but also his body’s, depending on whether he can still perform. He’ll likely make a call before IPL 2026. Despite struggling with batting in IPL 2025, scoring only 76 runs in four innings, Dhoni remains focused on the current season. Dhoni underwent a knee surgery a few years back, and hasn’t been the same finisher, especially not in IPL 2025 so far. Read more here.
GT player injured?
Glenn Phillips, Gujarat Titans’ Kiwi all-rounder, suffered a freak groin injury while fielding during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He fell to the ground in pain after throwing the ball while attempting to run out Ishan Kishan. This injury might keep him out of IPL 2025, which would be a massive blow to GT, considering Phillips’ exceptional fielding skills and all-round abilities. Notably, Phillips hadn’t played a match for GT this season yet Phillips came in as a substitute fielder! Read more here.

Ashwin YouTube controversy!
Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube channel has been making waves, but not for the right reasons. Fans and critics alike have been accusing him of conflict of interest, given his role as a Chennai Super Kings player and a content creator.
