ALDI’S sell-out garden toy that’s £70 cheaper than John Lewis version is back on the shelves next week.

Shoppers will soon be able to pick up the German discounter’s wooden climbing frames for children.

The products were last sold in October 2024

Customers can choose between a wooden cube or triangle that are sold individually but can be used as part of a set.

The toys will be sold for £54.99 each or you can pay £109.98 for both of them together.

John Lewis currently charges for its TP ToysActive Tots Wooden Climbing Cube, which cost £89.99.

The posh retailer also sells a wooden climbing triangle for £89.99.

These products are also sold as individual items so if you wanted to buy both it would cost you £179.98.

That is £70 more than what Aldi charges for its set.

Parents can join the two activity stations together so their children can climb across both of the pieces.

It is part of Aldi’s Specialbuys, which are unique products sold in the discounter’s middle aisle from Thursday to Sunday.

The items are usually sold at a low price and only available while stocks last.

If you keen to pick up one Aldi’s cut-price version you will have to act quickly, as they are a limited edition item so once they are gone they are gone.

It is one of many dupes for high end products that Alid has rolled out in recent weeks.

Shoppers went wild when they spotted the perfect dupe for Gucci Floral’s Gorgeous Jasmine scent, which typically costs £76.

Thankfully, their purse-friendly alternative is just £6.99 in Aldi, marking a saving of a whopping £69.

Elsewhere, Aldi also confirmed it would bring back its iconic dupe for the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser.

Aldi discontinued the product last Spring, leaving shoppers devastated.

Aldi’s Lacura Original Hot Cloth Cleanser is extremely popular with customers, and has been praised for its likeness to Liz Earle’s luxurious Cleanse & Polish cleanser.

Meanwhile the Liz Earle cleanser comes with a hefty £30 price tag, Aldi’s dupe costs just £3.49.

The grocer said it was bringing the item back but only to a limited number of stores.

How to save money at Aldi

Unlike other major grocers, Aldi does not have a rewards or point card system but that does not mean you cannot save on your shop.

Every week the store releases a list of special buys , which are unique bargain products you find online at Aldi and in store.

The store releases a fresh range of deals every Thursday and Sunday, so be sure to check regularly to see what’s new.

Meanwhile, the store also regularly sells fruit and vegetables at highly discounted prices, as part of its ‘super six’ deal.

It also does weekly saving offers on typically pricey items such as meat and fish.

How to shop around for the best bargain

When hunting for a deal it is important to shop around to make sure you are not being overcharged.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

For example, Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.

Price Spy also logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets.

Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
