Luke Littler made it four nights of Premier League success on the bounce when beating Luke Humphries 6-1 in the Newcastle final last week and the Nuke has opened up a huge lead at the top of the standings.
The 18-year-old has an eight point advantage over his nearest rival Humphries and Cool Hand Luke is in turn five points clear of Michael van Gerwen in third place.
Away from the two Lukes, the race is on for the play-offs and points will be at a premium during Week 9 in Berlin.

Bet 1: Luke Humphries to win Week 9 @ 3/1 each-way
Three of the Premier League’s top four performers have been housed in the bottom half of the Berlin draw, with Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price on a collision course.
That has handed Luke Humphries a golden opportunity to at least make the final and Cool Hand Luke should take his chance.
The Newbury arrowsmith has two wins and two runner-up spots in this season’s competition and the former world champion is the only player keeping tabs on Littler at the top of the table.
Humphries can be fancied to get past Rob Cross in round one and that would set up a semi-final clash against either Nathan Aspinall or Stephen Bunting. Those matches are no walkovers, but the route to the final looks pretty kind for Humphries and Cool Hand Luke looks an each-way play to take Night 9 honours.
Bet 2: Stephen Bunting to beat Nathan Aspinall @ 10/11
Stephen Bunting has yet to win a match in eight weeks of Premier League competition, and while that has clearly impacted the confidence of the Bullet, there has been a fair share of ill-fortune mixed in.
The Merseyside man averaged 102 in his first-round tie against Luke Littler in Newcastle last week, but that wasn’t enough to win a single leg against an incredible performance from the Nuke.
Bunting has put up numbers of 102.15, 87.05, 102.11, 97.06, 104.89 and 100.49 in the last six weeks of Premier League action and those efforts really should have been enough to pick up at least two or three victories.
Nathan Aspinall’s game has been rather hit and miss in this season’s competition and there was a low average of just 85.53 in Dublin a few weeks ago.
At 10/11, Bunting looks a good bet to finally break his Premier League duck.
Bet 3: Gerwyn Price to beat Michael van Gerwen @ 20/21
Gerwyn Price and Michael van Gerwen complete the night’s quarter-final action and the Iceman rates the best match bet on the card.
Price has been working his way back to his peak in recent weeks and there were some excellent efforts in the European Darts Trophy last month.
The Welshman averaged 103.74, 110.83 and 107.40 in his three matches in the European Tour and the promise was delivered on when Price won Players Championship 9 on Tuesday.
The Iceman averaged 114.36 when beating Brendan Dolan 7-0 in the PC9 semi-finals and the Markham man made no mistake when downing Ian White in the final.
Van Gerwen lacks consistency and this doesn’t look like the ideal time to be taking on a rampant Iceman.
