Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann shared more emotion backstage following the latter’s retirement from the UFC.
McCann was in action at UFC London looking to try and get back to winning ways and spearhead a revival of her recent form.

She elected to put down her gloves after the decision was announced, confirming it would be her final bow in the UFC.
Teammate and long-term friend Pimblett was sat cageside watching on as she gave her final interview.
And he was wiping away tears as he too was caught up in the emotion of Meatball’s decision to call it a day.
But after she left the cage for the final time, the emotions didn’t stop there.
McCann paid tribute to Pimblett in an emotional speech in her dressing room, a moment which has been captured on the latter’s YouTube channel, after the defeat.
“It’s just time for me now, lad,” she told Pimblett who began crying.
“The last seven or eight years you have changed my life, even yourself Pad your career’s propelled mine to different astronomical levels.
“I’m really proud of the human that I am now because yous have raised me as the men in my life that I never had. You’ve given me skills and experiences that people can only dream of.
“I don’t know if it’s my age or what But the camps are too hard on me to not get the wins so I’m sorry it’s disappointing you or the team.”
McCann and Pimblett became an iconic British duo in the UFCGettyMcCann then turned her attention to Pimblett and the pair were in floods of tears.
She then uttered: “It’s just a shame we won’t get to fight together again, lad.”
The pair then touched heads before bursting into tears again, showing their real bond when coming through the ranks together.
Pimblett will no doubt still train with McCann as he looks to push forwards in his own UFC career.
He will need to put emotions aside to focus on business as he faces Michael Chandler in a huge fight at UFC 314 next month.
The pair have formed a hugely dynamic duo in recent years, and McCann’s absence will be notable from his next fight card.
And he paid his own tribute to McCann on social media.
He wrote: “Heartbreaking night last night watching my big sister retire.
“Been there with her from the start and will always be there. This may be the end of her fighting career, but it’s far from the end of mine and her friendship.
“That’s till death do us part. UK MMA women’s legend, first English woman to get a win in the UFC and combat sports history her legacy will live on forever.
“Emotional isn’t even the word for last night but even when I was crying the ‘Meatball’ will never fail to make me laugh…”
