All 4 No. 1 seeds have found their way into the Final Four for just the 2nd time since the NCAA Tournament’s expansion to 64 teams in 1985.

Earlier on Sunday, 1-seed Houston locked up the Midwest Region final with a dominating victory over Tennessee in Indianapolis. Before the Tigers and Cougars each did their part on Sunday, top seeds Florida and Duke did theirs on Saturday with regional final victories.
The Gators roared back to take out Texas Tech to win the West Region Final in San Francisco, and in the nightcap Duke easily dispatched Alabama to win the East Region.
Four behemoths and now 4 spots in the 2025 Final Four in San Antonio, with the semifinals being played next Saturday night and the title game on April 7.
In that 1 other season where the 1 seeds all got through to the Final Four, it was Kansas cutting down the nets after an overtime victory over Memphis. North Carolina and UCLA were the other 2 top seeds that got to the Final Four that year.
And in a twist of irony, where was that Final Four in 2008 played? Yep, in San Antonio.
