Starting April 3, the national brand is introducing two new sandwiches that feature the trendy flavor, as well as a new sauce that it says brings hot honey “to the next level.”
The new sauce from Subway takes sweet honey and gives it a kick of cayenne and habanero pepper powder, while also adding in additional spices like garlic, onion, and clove.
Over on the sandwich side, fans can expect two new spicy and sweet options. The hot honey chicken sandwich features rotisserie-style chicken and melted Monterey cheddar cheese on Italian bread. It's topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and red onions with a combination of the new hot honey sauce and creamy sriracha and Subway’s crispy, savory crunchy topping, SubKrunch.
The second sandwich will be part of the $6.99 Meal of the Day promotion at Subway.
