Sai Sudharsan suffered the injury in the ongoing 9th match of the season between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, March 29.
Sudharsan did a wonderful job for the Gujarat Titans with the bat in the ongoing match. While opening the innings, he continued his great form and smashed a fantastic half-century.
Sai Sudharsan was eventually dismissed by the premier Mumbai Indians left-arm pacer Trent Boult's unplayable yorker in the 18th over. He finished with a score of 63 runs in 42 balls, with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
The Mumbai Indians batter played a brilliant sweep shot, and it went towards the long leg where Sai Sudharsan put in a brilliant dive but was unable to stop the ball, and it went for a four.
