Right before it was time for the morning cast to pass the baton to the next studio over for a regular Live! With Kelly & Mark episode, the news team broke one more very exciting story.
"Before we skedaddle," Roberts said at the end of Thursday's show, "We want to introduce a new member of the ABC News family."
Mintz and his wife welcomed a baby boy named Jonah Kaydan, per the report.
"We are so happy for them," Roberts added as fellow GMA anchors Michael Strahan, George Stephanopoulos and Lara Spencer beamed with joy at the news. "Sending our best wishes to the entire family."
While it looks as though the entire GMA team gets along well, at least from what viewers can see on screen, this sweet shout-out is proof that they support each other through all of life's biggest moments–work-related or not!
