In a bonus episode of New Heights released on Friday, March 14, the brothers sat down with Sudeikis, who offered Swifties a fun fact about the singer's first time hosting the sketch comedy series.
The "Fearless" songstress served double duty in November 2009 as both host and musical guest, and the SNL alum traced one of his "personal favorite" moments back to that episode. However, fans of the long-running series will remember it a little differently, as a controversial connection to the singer was the host who eventually brought the segment to life.
"Nice!" her beau immediately replied, knowing off the bat that it was "a young Taylor" he was talking about, as Swift was 19 when she hosted for the first—and, so far, only—time.
It eventually found success with one of Swift's good friends, Blake Lively, who "ended up getting it over the hump for us.”
Lively, of course, is having a tough go of it these days as the whole world watches how her legal battle with former co-star Justin Baldoni plays out.
