Manuel, 28, and Chavez, 30 were both born with a super-rare genetic disorder called osteogenesis imperfecta type 3, which causes brittle bones, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Both use motorized wheelchairs because of their condition.
Recently, the TLC stars spoke with Parade about their new reality series and future plans, including whether they hope to have children one day.
The couple only recently adopted a dog named Cheddar and walked down the aisle, after all.
"Even though we don't take any steps, we're taking it step by step with everything and just seeing and defining that family unit for us," he adds. "But, you know, it's definitely something we've talked about and discussed. So, you know, we'll see."
