Oklahoma quarterback commit Jaden O’Neal will play his senior season of high school football near his future home, according to a report.

O’Neal, a California native, has enrolled at Mustang High School. That’s according to Oklahoma play-by-play voice Toby Rowland, who broke that news on Thursday afternoon.

Sources tell me that OU 2026 QB commit Jaden O’Neal (Narbonne HS, California) has enrolled at Mustang High School in Oklahoma. He will start classes next week.

O’Neal previously attended Narbonne High School in Harbor City, California. He’s now listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. O’Neal’s move will put him within a 30-mile drive of his future home in Norman. And although he can’t officially sign with Oklahoma until December, it seemingly goes a long way toward strengthening his commitment to OU.

O’Neal has been committed to Oklahoma since last summer. He committed back in June and chose the Sooners over offers from programs like Ohio State, Auburn, Texas and more.

O’Neal is currently rated as the No. 137 overall player and the No. 11 quarterback in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the top-ranked high school prospect from the state of Oklahoma in this cycle.

The talented passer is one of 4 prospects currently committed to Oklahoma in the class of 2026, although that number is expected to rise significantly in the coming months.
