The Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly granted All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson permission to seek a trade, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Hendrickson, who led the NFL in sacks in 2024, joins a growing list of pass rushers the Arizona Cardinals could target.
Hendrickson is in the final year of his contract and set to earn $15.8 million in 2025 with a cap hit of $18.6 million, according to Spotrac.
The news comes as the Bengals placed a franchise tag on wide receiver Tee Higgins for the second straight offseason on Monday in hopes of re-signing him to a long-term deal.
The Bengals are also reportedly seeking a contract extension with All-Pro receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who is set to be a free agent in 2026.

Which pass rushers other than Trey Hendrickson could the Cardinals target this offseason?
Garrett could be a potential option for the Cardinals after requesting a trade out of Cleveland in February. Garrett had 14 sacks in 2024, second in the NFL behind Hendrickson.
Outside linebacker Josh Sweat is a potential free agent option. Sweat had his best season under then-Eagles defensive coordinator and current Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon in 2022 where he had a career-high 11 sacks.
Los Angeles Chargers edge rusher Joey Bosa could be another free agent option for the Cardinals after being released on Wednesday. In 14 games with the Chargers last season, Bosa had 17 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles.
