The shift in weather will come after much of the UK has enjoyed a dry and mild start to March, with a sunny and warm weekend ahead.
In Lincoln, which has seen temperatures of 16°C on Thursday, the coming Wednesday is forecast to be as cool as 7°C, three degrees below the seasonal average.
