HOUSE hunters have been left divided over a £500,000 villa up for sale that has “over the top charm”.
The Rutherglen pad in Lanarkshire is up for grabs on Savills but has gone viral on social media too thanks to its ‘Mrs Hinch-inspired’ decor.

But it also boasts 2,260 sq ft, a sizeable balcony with panoramic views and a spacious rear decking and landscaped garden.
Selling agents Savills say the property is “flooded with light” and spacious rooms.
But it’s the interiors that have left house-hunters stunned on both Reddit and TikTok.
Posting the listing on TikTok, one social media user racked up 840,000 views and described it as a “very, very interesting property”.
He added: “The interior in this place is definitely going to be a divisive one.
“Can somebody explain what in the B&M final boss is going on?”
Somebody else instantly exclaimed: “What in the crushed velvet?”
Another person labelled it as “council estate chic.” while a third claimed: “There’s a lot of B&M in that house.”
A fourth wrote: “Those dining chairs… the pearls on the toilet… my eyes, my eyes!”
And a fifth echoed: “What have they got against comfortable chairs? Why is their toilet wearing jewellery?”
But many people hit back at those judging the interiors and instead focused on the potential the property has.
Others, meanwhile, were more distracted by its £525,000 price point.
One person admitted: “I’d rather live in that house than mine.”
A second cried: “£525k?!?! That’s a bog standard 3bed here!? That’s a castle!? I’m moving.”

“It has a certain over the top charm”, wrote somebody else.
A fifth said: “I don’t hate it, I’ve seen way worse on here. Certainly not to my taste, but they’ve committed, right? Deserves credit for that, I reckon.
Meanwhile, a sixth revealed: “Despite the interiors, I like the floor plan and amount of space.
“If I had cash, I’d think about making a pantry in ‘bedroom 5’ and then making one of the bedrooms into smart storage space.”
