Harrison Ford Reportedly Skipping the Oscars for Health Reasons ...Saudi Arabia

The 82-year-old actor was diagnosed with shingles on Friday, Feb. 28, Entertainment Weekly reported on Saturday, March 1. The Star Wars actor pulled out as a presenter on Saturday morning, People later reported.

Parade reached out to representatives for Ford and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for comment on Saturday.

Ford has made many public appearances during the 2025 awards show season, and most recently attended the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) last weekend. Ford was nominated at the ceremony in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series category for his role in the television comedy drama Shrinking.
