But it appears that one of them got a little more than she bargained for after getting flustered around Sunday Today anchor Willie Geist.
Comedian Heather McMahan stopped by the NBC studios for a week-long stay on the show, and as evidenced by a video shared on social media, she ran into Geist in a dressing room and seemingly got a little nervous around the veteran journalist.

“Are we an item?” joked Geist. “Yeah, we kind of are,” said MacMahan.
“Jeff was OK with it too!” said McMahan, referencing her husband, consultant Jeff Daniels (not the Emmy-award winning actor), who often comes up in her comedy routine. “He was like, ‘if anybody, it’s Willie.’”
“I was surprised at the lack of resistance I got from my wife. She was like, ‘great, she’s awesome,’” said Geist.
“[Make] her the permanent co-host she rocks! ❤️," one Instagram user declared. Others agreed, saying that they love Bush Hager and McMahan together, and writing, “I need more of this maybe on a permanent basis.”
