On Tuesday's episode of her Daytime Emmy-winning talk show, the American Idol alum used her popular "Kellyoke" segment to belt out an original from her fifth studio album, Stronger, initially released in October 2011.
Singing "Standing in Front of You" for the show that aired on Feb. 25, the Grammy winner rocked a black and blue patterned midi dress with a sweetheart neckline that swooped off either shoulder. She paired the fabulous curve-hugging dress with a pair of royal blue pumps and minimal jewelry. She styled her hair straight, with her bangs blown out and wore a face of simple glam, adding a pop of color with a rose-toned blush, a mauve lipstick and a touch of drama with her eyeliner.
The Kelly Clarkson Show later shared a clip of the performance on Instagram, cheering about her, "Throwing it back!" in the caption. The show also uploaded a full version on YouTube.
"Love this one!" one YouTuber cheered, calling the song, "A hidden gem"
"This is an underrated song from Kelly's catalogue," a third agreed. "Emotionally beautiful."
"You can tell how much she loves singing and it makes me emotional every single time I hear her," another wrote before adding, "I love this Woman.. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, she is the greatest singer on the planet."
"Re-recordings are coming," another social media user wrote. "Pleaseee??in your own label ?? ??."
Other Clarkson originals to recently be dusted off in "Kellyoke" include "Beautiful Disaster," "Whyyawannabringmedown" and "Not Today," just to name a few.
