The country music star, 31, recently shared a snippet of a new song he's been working on titled "Superman," which contains vulnerable lyrics about some of the mistakes he's made in the past.
Posting a teaser audio clip of the new track via Instagram earlier this week, Wallen explained that the song was dedicated to his 4-year-old son Indigo.
"Hear a song about a girl I lost/From the times that I just wouldn’t grow up/And when you ain’t a kid no more/I hope you don’t think less of me/I try to hide my falling short/But you’re gonna see."

"Don’t always know my wrongs from right/Sometimes I’m my own worst enemy/No I don’t always save the day/But you know for you I’ll always try/I do the best I can/But Superman's still just a man sometimes."
He was also arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in 2020, though those charges were later dropped.
In 2021, scandal erupted again when he was caught using a racial slur on video. He later issued an apology, stating at the time that he was "embarrassed and sorry," but he was still suspended from his record label and his hit songs were pulled from radio stations across the country.
"This is so real. Damn this is good," one of the "Whiskey Glasses" singer's followers wrote in the comments.
